Yes it will get somwhat harder but you must remeber this game isnt based around levels. A lot of strat and planning goes into this also. Like it has been mentioned befor it will take about 48 hours of straight gameing. (some people say 30) but you get the picture. All in all dont be supprised at howquickly you level.

As he said, doesn't take long to level. But if you are lookign for a challenge you won't be disappointed. The first few missions are pretty simple, but they get much much harder later on in the game.

If you are into PvP it should not get boring. If you only like PvE there are missions for level 20 characters, after you beat all those I'd suggest starting over with a new character, trying a new profession can add a whole new spin on the game and its very replayable IMO

i am completely PVE no PVP

there are 25 missions (non pvp) to start
there are 60-70 explorable areas (non pvp, not small) to start with additional content to be added by streaming in

fron GW

Guild Wars, in contrast, is based around your skill as a player. Our maximum level is twenty and you hit that very quickly, after about 20-30 hours of play. ,We call that 'The Point of Ascension'. Almost all of the content in the game and in the future Chapters is only available to Ascended characters, which means we don't have to worry about providing different levels of content. All the good stuff will be available to everyone. It's not our intent to force people onto the levelling up treadmill, so the level cap in Guild Wars is almost meaningless.

ENJOY

The only thing I'm worried about is only having 4 character slots. There are so many build possibilities it's going to be tough to limit to just 4. Anyways at 40 hours apiece up to level 20 that is still a whooping 160 game-hours. Not only that but I think this game will be incredibly fun at level 20 just trying to master your different 8-skill combonations in PvP (or PvE, though not to the same extent).

I agree that 4 character slots is very small, but remember that you can always re-select your secondary profession via a level 20 quest. So basically you can have the majority of all possible permutations of those 6 primary classes. Also, it's only a one-time fee to buy another cd-key (and get another 4 slots), since no monthly fee will exist as a burden for multiple accounts.

I spent 13hrs last night playing solid and only reached lvl8. I did explore all the map pre-asaclon. I have realised that post-ascalon, xp for misisons is alot higher.
